May 2009 General Meeting:

Our General Meeting on Tuesday, May 5th, features: "ACUG's Computer Classroom". The meeting is held as a round table discussion that includes special presentations.

Bring your questions and computer problems to the meetings, and let the group help you with suggestions and solutions. The atmosphere is friendly and suited to both beginners, intermediate and expert users.

Our Featured Presentations:

"Traveling With a Computer". ACUG will present an overview of how to use your computer on the road whether traveling domestically or Internationally.

"Global Positioning Systems". Overview on the usefulness of GPS devices when you travel.

"Share your Favorite Web site or Web Tips". Bring your great sites and let others know about them.

"Question and Answers". Bring your computer related questions or problems and share them with the group.

Raffle Prizes

To add to your enjoyment, we will hold our usual Mystery Raffle at the end of the meeting to help fund ACUG's community service efforts. Our Mystery Raffle prizes are announced during the meeting. Prize winners are drawn at the end of the meeting, and you must be present to win.

You won't want to miss this exciting opportunity for some great prizes, while enjoying an evening of friendly conversation aimed at helping you  both use & choose software and hardware. Learn to get more out of your computer! ACUG has raffled some great items, don't miss it! Tickets are $1 each or 10 for $5.

A special raffle will be held for a delicious buffet dinner for two at the Jackson Rancheria Raging River Restaurant, generously donated by the Jackson Rancheria Casino and Hotel on New York Ranch Road. Take someone to a great All You Can Eat Buffet dinner (not to exceed $50) for the cost of a raffle ticket! Not valid for gratuity or to-go orders. Management reserves all rights. Raffle Tickets are $5 each.

The public is always welcome to attend our meetings FREE of charge! Tell your friends, bring your neighbors!

 

Program Schedule and Meeting Notes:

  • The ACUG Library Raffle Ticket Sales and Membership table will open for business at 6:45 PM

  • The meeting starts at 7 PM with an introduction by the President.

  • ACUG's Computer Classroom starts at 7:10 PM

  • Questions are welcome. Bring your tips to share.

  • Featured Presentations start at 7:30 PM. 

  • Break and Raffle 8:00 PM. There are at least 3 prizes offered. You must be present to win.

  •  Classroom Q & A  resumes at 8:10 PM

  • Meetings end at 8:30 PM.
