August 2007 General Meeting:

Our General Meeting on Tuesday, Aug 7th, featured a presentation on "Get Your Personal Finances in Shape" presented by ACUG Treasurer Dick Johnson. Do you find you are out of money by the end of the month? Do your bills sometimes surprise you? Do you want to save money for something special? Dick will discuss the advantages of tracking your personal finances and how to use a computer and finance software to assist in keeping your financial life in order. If you are not sure what a Transaction Register is, or have never had a budget, or maybe would like to learn some tips on using budgets, categories, memos and reports, then this is the meeting for you!

About the Presenter:

Dick Johnson is ACUG's Treasurer and Board member. He works in real estate for Sam Snead Realty, and also volunteers for the Blue Mountain Theatre group in West Point.
